{"id":1657,"date":"2011-01-19T21:31:02","date_gmt":"2011-01-20T01:31:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lifewithhappiness.com\/?p=1657"},"modified":"2018-10-02T13:36:50","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T17:36:50","slug":"when-a-coach-can-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theexecutivehappinesscoach.com\/2011\/01\/when-a-coach-can-help\/","title":{"rendered":"When a Coach Can Help"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #333399\"><span style=\"color: #000080\">Today&#8217;s guest blogger is Marcia Yudkin**, one of my Marketing Mentors.<\/span> <\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong>When we drive, most of us know when we&#8217;ve reached our destination as planned or realize that we&#8217;re lost. <\/strong>We don&#8217;t need a driving expert to tell us we&#8217;re holding the steering wheel wrongly, heading north to go east or annoying others on the road.<br \/>\n<strong>Business is much more complicated. <\/strong>Destinations are no longer clearly marked.\u00a0 We can be lost without realizing it or think we&#8217;re lost yet actually be moving ahead nicely.<br \/>\nWithout a clue, we might be going around in circles, about to run out of gas where we can&#8217;t refuel.<br \/>\n<strong>An experienced business expert &#8211; consultant, coach or mentor <\/strong>&#8211; has observed people like you, knows common and uncommon signs of trouble, understands subtle relationships between cause and effect, and can tune into what you know but don&#8217;t realize that you know.<br \/>\n<strong>When does it make sense to ask for help from a coach?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When you are floundering, feeling confused or stuck in a pattern that feels wrong.<\/li>\n<li>When you can&#8217;t see why you&#8217;re not getting the results you&#8217;re aiming for.<\/li>\n<li>When you&#8217;re humming along and your inner voice wonders about your direction, methods or progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><strong><span style=\"color: #333399\">~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~~*~*~<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">One of the most common questions I get when I speak about coaching is this: <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">Why would I need a coach to help me do something I can do on my own? <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">My response:\u00a0 If you can do it yourself, then why isn&#8217;t it already done? <\/span><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\">Think about it!
