{"id":1668,"date":"2011-01-08T13:49:17","date_gmt":"2011-01-08T17:49:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lifewithhappiness.com\/?p=1668"},"modified":"2018-10-03T16:01:39","modified_gmt":"2018-10-03T20:01:39","slug":"the-questions-we-ask-shape-our-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theexecutivehappinesscoach.com\/2011\/01\/the-questions-we-ask-shape-our-life\/","title":{"rendered":"The Questions We Ask Shape Our Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- ~~am begin~~ --><\/p>\n<div>Cialis online<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.np-collection.com\/\">Cialis online<\/a><\/div>\n<p><!-- ~~am end~~ --><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1671\" title=\"PQPR (2)\" src=\"https:\/\/theexecutivehappinesscoach.com\/files\/2011\/01\/PQPR-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"547\" height=\"91\" \/>The best questions are open, invite exploration, and inspire a positive, appreciative perspective of a situation. <\/strong>They help us tap into our wisdom, expand our understanding and, best of all, place us in the emotion of Curiosity.\u00a0 Whether you are working on a plan, facilitating a meeting, coaching  an associate or client, or supporting a friend, good questions will  facilitate a better conversation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Below I share some of my favorite provocative, positive questions to help you explore the year ahead. <\/strong>Pick just one or several, and make space in your life to sit with the question(s) for awhile.\u00a0 I promise that a written response to ANY of these will shift you to a different space for 2011.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Awesome Questions to Consider for 2011<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #000080\"><strong>Questions to answer one time<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>What do I value?<\/li>\n<li>What do I want to learn this year?<\/li>\n<li>What promises will I make to myself?<\/li>\n<li>What does my \u201cwise self\u201d say to start doing a bit more of each day?<\/li>\n<li>What am I aware of, right now?<\/li>\n<li>What do I want, right now?<\/li>\n<li>How do I stop myself from having that, right now?<\/li>\n<li>Why is that important to me?\u00a0 (ask this five times, e.g. \u201cand why is THAT important\u2026 etc)<\/li>\n<li>What is missing for me, that I will take care of this year?<\/li>\n<li>What do I already know, that I\u2019m not using?<\/li>\n<li>What assumptions am I making about this situation (or person)?<\/li>\n<li><em>and <\/em>What would happen if I dropped those assumptions?<\/li>\n<li>What must I be doing more often to be comfortable that I am growing?<\/li>\n<li>Where might I ask for help\/support?<\/li>\n<li>What is missing for me?<\/li>\n<li><em>and the companion, <\/em>What will I do about that in the next year?<\/li>\n<li>What is a small step I could take \u2013 to which I could commit 100%?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong><span style=\"color: #000080\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Questions to answer 100 times<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>(<em>write one of these at the top of a page, and keep writing till you\u2019ve answered it at least 100 times.\u00a0 Prepare to be surprised at what you learn when you get past the predictable and really start pushing yourself!<\/em>)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Who am I?<\/li>\n<li>What do I do?<\/li>\n<li>What do I offer the world?<\/li>\n<li>What brings me Joy?<\/li>\n<li>What makes me laugh?<\/li>\n<li>What am I putting up with in my work or life (that I\u2019m no longer willing to tolerate)?<\/li>\n<li>What do I believe to be true?<\/li>\n<li>What is my passion?<\/li>\n<li>What am I grateful for?
