{"id":2365,"date":"2008-11-26T07:00:42","date_gmt":"2008-11-26T11:00:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lifewithhappiness.com\/?p=317"},"modified":"2018-10-02T13:36:58","modified_gmt":"2018-10-02T17:36:58","slug":"happy-thanksgiving-inventory-your-wealth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/theexecutivehappinesscoach.com\/2008\/11\/happy-thanksgiving-inventory-your-wealth\/","title":{"rendered":"Happy Thanksgiving &#8211; Inventory Your Wealth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Happy Thanksgiving!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">As The Executive Happiness Coach<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> I especially love any holiday that carries a greeting of HAPPY in front of it.<span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">You know, many people say that Happiness is the \u201cultimate currency.\u201d So when we wish each other a \u201cHappy Anything\u201d we are, in a way, wishing for them a life that is wealthy on many levels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In this time of crisis in which, uncertainty, worry, and fear seem everywhere, give yourself also the gift of hope.<span> <\/span>Eventually the crisis will pass, the transition will be history, the recession will fade to memory. My wish for you is that you take time during this 2008 Thanksgiving holiday, to inventory the wealth you possess that is independent of money:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your Relationships<br \/>\n<\/strong>List the people who love you, and whom you love<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your Wisdom<br \/>\n<\/strong>Think about how much you know, and recognize what an asset you are<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your Communities<br \/>\n<\/strong>Write down all the groups of which you are a member \u2013 work, family, faith, civic, and even virtual\/online<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your Faith<br \/>\n<\/strong>Consider the beliefs you hold; the things you believe in even if you cannot \u201cprove\u201d them<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your Health<br \/>\n<\/strong>Take a deep, deep breath and consider how fabulous it is to be alive (aches and pains and all!)<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><strong>Your future<br \/>\n<\/strong>Regardless what\u2019s happened till now, the rest of your life is yet unwritten, and you can change the story if you want to<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Make time to express gratitude, on purpose.<span> <\/span>It\u2019s good for you!<span> <\/span>Gratitude is one of a handful of emotions which create as much good feeling in the Giver as in the Receiver.<span> <\/span>So remember that when you say, \u201cthanks!\u201d you\u2019re filling up someone else\u2019s tank\u2026 as well as your own!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">So HAPPY Thanksgiving.<span> <\/span>I am grateful that you are in my world \u2013 as a reader, as a client, as a colleague, as a friend, as a fellow traveler on Spaceship Earth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In happiness, J<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Happy Thanksgiving!
